Gorging Imp Inn

[Rue]

While the role-play is going slow, and we are all still trying to learn each other's names; I thought of making up a fun little rp scenario, D&D style (cause that's what I do in my free time). You guys can play as your characters in the Nocebo rp here and help you get to know them better in a different environment. If your characters are pending to be accepted, you are more then welcome to join while you wait.

Setting

---

You have gathered at the Gorging Imp Inn on request to join a party on a quest. However, you arrived way too early and now have a few days to kill. Only issue is, the Inn is in the middle of nowhere, and the only fun things you can do is interact with the other travelers. Luckily for you, the majority of the Inn is just rooms to sleep and a 24/7 bar/restaurant which you can mingle, play games and have all the meed and bread your money can buy. So while you wait, don't be shy to talk around and be yourself.

Placing Bets

• Everyone will start out with 10 gold.
  
• No money will be lost with the purchase of any food or drinks.
  
• You are free to bet however much money you want.
  
• If it's vs. the dealer you'll get back double of what you bet.
  
• If it's vs. multiple players, you get the whole pot.
  
• If you're out of gold, you can beg other players for some of theirs.

The game will simply be the rolling of dice. My character Rue will be the main dealer, but I can't place bets and I'll never run out of money. However if I won't be around for a while, you are free to play with any of the other people as long as you are clear on what you're doing.

Game Rules

• It's a dice game so you will use a random number generator.
  
• You will be rolling numbers 1-20 and your first roll counts.
  
• The highest or lowest number will win the prize.
  
• There can be multiple games so you don't have to wait for other to continue the rp.
  
• Be honost because there is no point in cheating when there are no prizes and it's all for the sake of role-playing.

This is just for fun so you don't have to go crazy with details (if you want to then go right ahead), and it's all about putting your characters in funny, awkward and tormenting situations! But most of all be creative and have fun!

[Rue]

Rue walks into the inn, scanning the whole floor to find the largest empty table. Through her search, she spots one close to the bar, perfect place to set up a gambling table. As she ventures through to her table, Rue starts to measure and compair quite a few of the people lounging around. It seems that she's the scrawniest of the lot, and shortest too. Sure enough, she could easily get into a lot of trouble in a place like this, especially for what she'll be doing. But with the protection of the inn and it's owners, Rue will stop at nothing to try and get a little money. Even when she'll be dealing with her least favorite activity, mingling. Sure Rue hates interacting with others, and can be rather rude at it too. But she desperately needs the money and is willing to go to extremes to get some.

Rue finally reaches her destination and starts to set up her post. Pulling out countless amounts of dice and coins to use at her disposal. She then takes out a portable sized black stone tablet and a few pieces of white chalk to write. She scribbles for a few seconds and then turns the tablet to face the majority of the inn so people can read her message. "Table open for games and gambles! Test your luck on the die." She plops her body down on a chair and asks the nearest weiter for a glass of mead. Now it just a matter of time before her first customer approaches the table.
